Explore the rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra with our Mumbai – Aurangabad – Ajanta – Ellora tour package.
Upon your arrival at Mumbai Airport or Railway Station, our tour representatives will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to a vehicle. We will then proceed towards Shirdi, covering a distance of 320 kilometers. Along the way, we will visit Triambakeswar (Jyotirlinga), Nasik, and Panchavati Sanctuary. You will spend the night at a comfortable hotel.
This morning, travel to Aurangabad (140 kilometers away). On the way, stop at Shani Shingnapur. This sacred place features a 5.5 feet tall black stone idol of Lord Shani placed outdoors. The village is renowned because none of its houses have doors, yet there have been no reports of theft. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay there.
In the morning, prepare to visit the Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO-recognized historical site in Maharashtra's Aurangabad district. These 30 rock-cut caves date back to the 2nd to 6th century BC. They are renowned for their exceptional painted artworks and sculptures, considered to be the pinnacle of Buddhist religious art. Afterwards, return to Aurangabad (220 kms) for an overnight stay at the hotel.
